I have been beading for about three years. I work a lot with seed beads and I bead them without a loom. Instead I use needle and thread. Also I string beads for jewelry. I have taken many classes on beading at Planet Bead in Hillsboro, Oregon. I can do most stitches and I have created some designs of my own. I have won an award at Planet Bead in Hillsboro, Oregon, the largest bead store in Oregon. The award was for recognition of my talent, my use of techniques. amd my commitment to the art of beading. This award got me written up in two different newspapers and they were full page! It was very exciting.
